We are on course to significantly transform the later life experience in the UK with a commitment to expand our portfolio to 34 retirement villages, which equates to around 5,000 age-appropriate homes for retirees.

The Role:
- Lead, build, and manage multiple operational teams across the village, including Food & Beverage (F&B), Housekeeping, and Night Porters.
- Oversee the smooth execution of all daily operations, ensuring high standards and exceptional service delivery.
- Empower your team leaders and frontline staff to create outstanding resident experiences aligned with our service ethos.
- Champion our organisational values, ensuring your teams embody our culture and service proposition at every touchpoint.
- Drive F&B profitability by increasing footfall, managing costs effectively, and delivering service excellence.
- Maximise ancillary revenue streams such as laundry and maintenance services, while maintaining costs within budget to support achievement of the village P&L targets.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and procedures across all functional teams.
- Uphold safeguarding protocols to protect residents, visitors, and team members at all times.
- Continuously improve resident satisfaction by actively driving Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Overall Satisfaction (OSAT) performance, ensuring timely delivery of team action plans.
- Foster a vibrant village environment by promoting activities, facility usage, and regular resident engagement to strengthen community bonds.
- Support local community engagement through active promotion of the village and a dynamic events calendar, including offerings for non-resident restaurant guests.
- Collaborate with the Village General Manager to manage your functional area's service charge budget with efficiency and accountability.
Key Requirements:
- A strong background in mid-level management preferably in hospitality or retirement communities’ sector
- Experience in running chargeable F&B services including budget management, labour modelling and building commercially viable services that offer choice, value and meet resident needs
- Working knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation
- Experience in running additional hospitality services
- Efficient in use of all Microsoft packages, and high level of computer skills.
