Role Purpose: Accounts Apprentice

As an Accounts Apprentice, you will play a crucial role within our Finance Team, assisting with a variety of tasks to develop your skills and knowledge towards your apprenticeship. This role requires keen attention to detail and a foundational understanding of basic accounting principles, as well as familiarity with different accounting systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Running and saving reports
  • Processing accounts payable invoices
  • Completing credit application forms
  • Daily communication with the wider finance team
  • Assisting with cash book reconciliations
  • Supporting trial balance reviews
  • Aiding in audit requests
  • Performing finance administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and cheque processing
  • Gaining comprehensive knowledge by working across all areas of finance

Required Skills

  • Effective communication skills, both face-to-face and via email and telephone
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel


  • Working towards AAT Level 2 or equivalent


  • No previous experience is required for this role. We are looking for an individual with a willingness to learn and a passion for numbers.
